Sight for sore eyes! COVID Vaccine!

My third shot was totally painless, even sensation-less! I thought she was simply palpating and it was over.

I estimated that they were using a 25 gauge needle, normal size for a typical adult IM injection.

Now my flu shot this year stung a bit, both the stick itself and after.

 

Got my Moderna booster a few days ago

The jab itself was much more painful

Arm sore longer

Sluggish for 3 fill days before back to normal

 

This is by far the most comfortable and best sealing mask I have worn. Also, there is absolutely zero fogging of my glasses. This will be super easy to deal with on those long transcontinental flights.

 

Please everyone * get your booster when you are eligible. Being an administrator for the largest senior health care provider in Nebraska, I can confidently tell you all, having the booster GREATLY reduces your chances of getting covid. Also, if you do end up with covid, delta, or the omicron variant, most often your symptoms are not life threatening. Please take care of yourself. Our healthcare workers need a fricken break!

where did you get that mask?

 

I found some similar ones on Amazon, but didn't check them all out to ascertain if they were the exact same masks.

Think they should have changed the messaging for the vaccines, as it appears the 'booster', is actually just the 3rd dose in the regimen.

Some immunologists I follow suggested that would be the case a while back, and it has certainly transpired to be the case from the studies.

Booster is what I'm getting, when I book in for my 4th dose next month sometime

One other great thing about these masks, that I forgot to mention, is that these masks are designed so the straps don’t have to rest one your ears to give a solid seal.

 

I have gotten every shot and boosters when they became available and recommended.. Also flu shot yearly and I don’t get sick.

I know people who have gotten COVID 3 times and I believe they have some symptoms of long term effects.

I believe in medical advice and advancements that we have It’s unbelievable how much we are able to do for prevention.
