I have had this 3 times today…. Dealt 4 to the royal. Down 300 on VP in aria so far. Three espresso martinis made by Alex the barman. Like is very good.

 

Gambling gone a bit downhill. Alfter losing 300 in aria, I got changed for dinner and lost 100 in buffalo and 200 in VP.

Currently sitting in Blondies waiting for the Liverpool match. It’s the final game of the English premier league. Two teams can still win the league. Liverpool and Man City. If Liverpool win (the league not merely their match) I will be happiest man in vegas.

Recap of last night…. We went to scotch 80 prime in the palms for dinner.

service was superb. It’s a lovely dining room too. Food very good and comparable to other steak houses in vegas.

 

As soon as I main course was over I slipped out to “use the restroom” but instead had a quick cigarette and stuck 60 in a buffalo and this happened

 

After dinner we played a little in palms, lost $200 combined. Had a few vodka red bulls. Good service in the floor too.

3-2 blackjack €25. Craps €15. Face up pai gow €15. Bacarrat €25.

the palms is nice but nothing would be really drawing me back. I liked it but prefer step despite the better gambling conditions.

 

We headed over to the TMB planning on seeing the lake of dreams show. It was busy and I didn’t want to wait in line for 30 mins so we gambled instead. My mom-gambler friend KA got a little bit addicted to buffalo and is a vegas convert.

we got some good play but ultimately lost 160 each.

 

We headed back to the Bellagio and had some fun slotting around. We decided to call it a night at 130 but not before putting $100 each into 5c buffalo and betting between $6-18 a spin. We got the bonus on a $9 sling that netted us $650 (no pic). We said our good byes as she had an early flight and I was getting up to watch the match.

 

Thanks for the pics and review. I am so happy to hear and see this. It's not in your pics above but I also really like the main room as it is so open and I recall being pretty light-filled, which I really like and is unusual for a steakhouse in Vegas.

I heard that one of the chefs and some of the staff moved from there when it closed to Barry's at Circa. Indeed, the waiter I had a Barry's when I dined there last used to work at Scotch 80.

I've dined there twice and that's one of two steakhouses in Vegas (the other being CUT) where I would pay to dine there, even though I'm RFB at Wynncore. Lovely place and I agree, relative to strip steakhouses, it's a good value.

 

Up at 6am this morning, quickly lost $120 on top top dollar. Then another $100 on dragon link.

put another $100 into monopoly cheaters addition and hit this to claw back some early losses

 

Assuming concerts return to the Palms, I think Palms would be a great evening for dinner (Scotch 80!), a concert and a bit of gambling before heading to wherever your home base might be. That's how I would enjoy it.

 

Today is my last day and night. Fly home tomorrow at lunchtime.

bankroll is in very healthy position so I am going to push it today with higher bets on everything. Hopefully I’ll be posting a royal or a hand pay.

 

Lotta folks don't know this but if you want to just see the show and not grab a cocktail you can stay on the main floor of Wynn and just to the right of the UP escalator is a short pathway that leads to a balcony where you can watch the show. I think they sometimes serve drinks there too but almost 100% positive you can just walk over, watch the show and then leave, and the balcony is outdoors so you can fully experience the show, hearing the music, etc.

I also see from your Wynn pic that the downstairs bar -- now called I think Bar Parasol -- has reopened. Great to know. They were finishing the renovations when I was there in April.

 

shit, I think you’re right @Flowers , I think it is called the overlook viewing balcony. I may have been a tipsy last night. That would have been a great option.

the wynn had a great atmosphere last night. I wish my play was big enough to get comped there. Mrs Mackattack’s favourite too.
