God dammit I'm old. I'm turning 50. But I've been planning this trip for nearly 18 months, and I've still got some moves.



Geotwink and I leave Dallas after work tomorrow for 7 (seven?? FML must stand for f*ck my liver) nights in the neon wonderland. First three at that Cosmo place that everyone seems to be getting their arses kicked at lately, and then moving over to Horseshoe for four more. Rented a car for the entire trip, considering adding the chauffeur too.




Because it's half a hundred and they say 50's are unlucky in Vegas, I've invited some of my friends along for moral support, err...heaping ass sheets of degeneracy.

We're gonna go to Valley of Fire! And then we're gonna go to Mt. Charleston! And then we're gonna go to Death Valley! We're gonna go all the way...to Frankie's!!!!

If you are looking for a TR where a guy is double fisting beers and cocktails of Bailey's mixed with Screwball, you may want to check in from time to time. We don’t fly Southwest often, but with a move to the greater Dallas area a couple of years ago, it’s becoming more common. We got B42 and B43.



Plus Southwest flies out of McLovin Field here, so I plan on serenading the flight attendants with, “These Eyes” by the Guess Who.

Granted, mine still has the sticker on it from when it was received and I'm not entirely sure why I paid $8 for a three year membership, but they did send this practical car storage pouch thingy that should come in use when I start wearing Depends...so it's worth it.

I think the value of the card is to announce that you're 50 years old. OH, and you get a monthly magazine all about old people (like yourself).





I absolutely loved going to my colonoscopy. I tell you what, they give you the Midazolam, Propofol-Fentanyl anesthetic and you're out immediately. Next thing you know you're awake in a recovery room and the Doc is sitting there in your face telling you he only had to remove eighteen polyps and we'll do it again next year!

It made me respect Michael Jackson because that gas is the same shit the Doc who killed him was administering.

I robbed the cradle and have a wife nine years younger. They say women are just hitting their prime at 40 so I have a lot of work to put in.
