Marshall? I admit, I didn't watch many Pels games this year, but I can;t remember a single standout moment or play form him this season. I've been assuming for the past month it would be Monk or Reid for that award. What are the odds on Marshall?

I try and spread out the games. He’s buried in the 3 spot so you’re not going to see the offensive stuff. He’s more of a defensive player. I just threw it out there as a long shot.

    Monk would/should be the favourite.

Damn Klay Thompson! Zero points in a win or go home game…in a contract year no less.

Suddenly that 2 years for $48 million doesn’t look that unreasonable.

Well... Warriors will have a whole new team next year. Chris Paul and Klay will be gone and we'll get nothing for 'em.

Wiggins should be gone as well. His contract's up. We'll get nothing for him either.

Hate to say it, but I'm done with Draymond's crap ... ship him and get what you can. I'm not even opposed to trading Steph to a contender, but doubt that’ll happen.

Kuminga thinks he’s Michael Jordan. Looks like we’ll be building around him.Pods and Trace-Jackson are both solid.

Watched a little Miami last night. Their games are so ugly that I actually find them entertaining….

ESPN commentators are annoying. It was like they were rooting for Philly…LOL.

Didn’t watch much this year. When they didn’t move Klay, Kuminga and Moody at the beginning of the year, I was out. Drafts have been atrocious, other than Jackson. I think they’ll keep Steph and Dray, although I wish Steph could move to a contender and get another ring because the Warriors will be in the wilderness for a while now.

    Only watched the Nuggets/Lakers.

Lakers going all in with LBJ and AD was dumb. They’re done….

What was their better alternative? Neither had trade value anywhere near their actual value to the Lakers.

I was referring to last night specifically.

Playing the LAL stars (40+ ) while your team is firmly in control. It cost them last night in the second half with turnovers. More than likely, fatigue the rest of the way. Both players had it last season in the playoffs.

Go it. I thought you meant roster construction. The TV feed was out where i was watching, so I didn't even see the first half ad then turned it off after the 3Q when Denver had the big lead

    No worries.

LBJ is effective playing 20-25 minutes. AD 30-35. Nuggets couldn’t get any momentum until the fatigue started to set in with Lakers…

The problem with trying to beat Denver is that no one in the west can beat them in a 7 game series.

As for the Lakers, they are too inconsistent to make a deep playoff run. Can’t really rely on anyone besides AD and LeBron. Bench scoring is abysmal

I’ve said this before. There are weaknesses on each team. There is no clear cut favourite this year.

I would’ve put 76ers at the top had Embid not been injured….they look horrible.
Boston starting 5 is great. Only real player off the bench is Hauser.
Knicks have some depth but without Randle…
Milwaukee has been a mess for a couple of years.

    Denver has zero bench.
    Okc has little experience.
Twolves have some depth. How long before KAT implodes???
Pelicans don’t have a leader. Only team with a solid bench.
    Clippers…enough said….

While I think you're right, I think the Clippers are a definite wild card if Kawhai Leonard comes back. They handled Dallas without him in the first game, but he makes them a serious contender. I could see them making it to the conference final against Denver. Of course, you take any prediction of Clipper greatness with a big grain of salt. They have disappointed so often.

It’s silly to believe in the Clipper curse but…they are a sad franchise. I wouldn’t be shocked if someone they need (Kawhi, PG13 or Harden) sustains a significant injury. I want to be wrong. The Clippers have shared Crypto Arena with the Lakers, Kings and Sparks and they are the only tenant without a banner or retired jersey. Just sad.

    Damn Jamal Murray!

Lakers have no chance. Nuggets in 4.

Found myself rooting for the Lakers, which is totally alien to me. LeBron gave it his all, but his role players seem to choke in the clutch. And Davis disappeared offensively in the fourth, even though he played his ass off on defense against Jokic. Looks like a sweep now.

Glad Jamal Murray hit that winning buzzer beater. I dunno if my randomly picked 3-leg under parlay just because I had a 30% profit boost would have survived OT.

Just as I suspected, the Suns experiment with putting together mismatched pieces isn't working. They are the dumbest organization in the league. Against Minnesota's big boys, they could have really used Ayton, but instead they have Beal, who played 42 minutes and had 14 points and 4 rebounds. Again, the folly of Kevin Durant abandoning the Warriors a few years ago is quite evident. I'm not even sure he gets into the HOF at this point. He has been abysmal since he left GS.
