Flamingo Checking in at 1 am

Hey all! Headed to Vegas Sunday evening, our flight is late & we won't be checking in until around 1am. At the Flamingo...I have a go room, and we are getting married. do u think this late middle of the night check in time would reduce or increase my chances of getting a better view or a suite using the 20 trick and my charm, and dropping the fact were getting married? Thanks in advance!

 

$20 trick late at night has always scored me a nice room. I think your chances are great on a Monday morning.

 

I agree. My best hotel upgrades occurred when I arrived late on a Sunday, but I have never stayed at the Flamingo in Vegas. And by the way: Congratulations!

If they still have some of those rooms, your chances go up.
If they are all in use, the chances are zero.

Assuming you mean you will be checking in at 1am on Monday morning, your chances just went up as the weekend traffic is gone.

 

1 am on a Monday morning you should easily get an upgrade.

 

I'd say your chances are very good with just the getting married angel, but add the $20 for some insurance.

 

A lot of people use the getting married/anniversary/birthday angle, whether true or not. I'm not sure how effective that is anymore

 

Thanks guys! One more question, do you think I should ask for a specific upgrade...like mention fountain view room, or a particular suite? I've always done well there with having a good view after doing 20 trick & just being friendly without asking for anything..
