If so are they the same ones on the floor like Wheel of Fortune?

You can wager on sports, and you should be able to play poker as well, but there's no i-gaming in Nevada.

Personally, I think that's unlikely to change, for the same reason that Nevada doesn't have a lottery -- the casinos won't want the competition, and especially won't want you sitting in your MGM room playing on a Caesars i-gaming platform. Yes, there are ways to geofence individual properties, but it's definitely not worth it.

Closest thing I think I've seen is when I've stayed at Bally's they have a Keno channel on the TV. You can't bet from your room, it just shows the drawings.

I don't even really know if it's actually showing their live games. so I can't tell if you can bet on future games on the regular floor and then go watch the results in your room, or whether it's just a Pavlovian thing to get people to want to go play live.

+1 for the wager on sports comment. And with in-game betting, you could wager while watching the game from the app.

We did that last year from a Bellagio cabana - Euro 2020 + Wimbledon wagering.

Wonder if in the 90+ years of casino gambling in Vegas if there was ever a High Roller who was able to get a private table game in his suite? Probably not allowed by the Gaming Commission these days but I can totally see it happening in the 60s or 70s.

Yes, indeed. I've actually done this before...bought the same numbers for like 20 games, and just went up for an hour's rest...

Ever? Anything's possible, but I highly doubt it. Even if Gaming were to allow it, I can't imagine why any casino would say yes, when they'd have no way to monitor what was happening in the game itself. Without any sort of surveillance (even just a dude standing in the catwalks above the gaming floor, like in the old days), this would be a massive opportunity for cheating.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying about the security issue. But I was thinking more in the vein of some unorthodox casino manager catering to the whims of an eccentric and demanding whale who would play one casino off another for his action just to sate his ego. No doubt it’s been requested, but it would be interesting to read in a book from some old time casino operators if it’s ever actually happened.

I participated in an experiment at Venetian where I gave them one hundred dollars and they loaded it plus a bonus one hundred onto a hand held Wi-Fi gaming device. It played standard casino games and video poker. The Wi-Fi was spotty because they didn’t want it to work beyond the casino floor, and they didn’t want someone to take it in the restroom out of view of the cameras. I guess someone could play on it while their spouse was playing slots. I played their hundred through on video poker and took the win. It was probably ten years ago and nothing ever came of it.

If you go visit the Vegas After Dark threads you'll find many examples of casino "in-room gaming".

I think I read that Terrence Wantanabe used to have table games set up in his suites when he wasn't in any condition to make it to the floor
