Curious. For those of you where the majority of your calendars look fine are you mostly booking through hosts or a mix between host and doing it yourself on the site?
I am lucky enough to have spread around my play enough to have a lot of options available, but not being able to, say, debut at Aria and finish off at Bellagio 10 days later sucks. I don’t see why they would not want to have you on property twice in a month if you play…
They are probably either fixing the glitches, introducing a new booking engine behind the scenes OR f*ing up further. Pick any.
Perhaps they are ready to switch us over the new system, so the offers will be coming from the new system(new database). These shit should be seemless to users, but CVP will be telling me I'm expecting too much, lol
I believe the old Cosmo model of only one offer at a time was to prevent people from being able to burn them more than once. But I think it was also after MGM took over that Cosmo started sending out more than one offer at a time. So I can see the rationale behind them doing it, if that's what they do, but yeah. I book at least six months out and my trip configs are MGM-CET-MGM. If I can't have more than one reservation at a time, that's going to flip to the other way around. Doesn't make sense to me that they would do that, but let's see. I can't remember if there was ever language in the detailed MGM T&Cs about the 72 hour rule, but I don't see it in the screenshot @ATLMM posted to point out the removal of the clause that said you could get freeplay more than once on the same offer.
The 72 hour rule was farther down I believe below the cut off. Someone could easily have 7 or more trips all booked under different offers and burn them on all. So I do see some risk under the preexisting way, so I could see a 2 trip limit as a possibility. Though that goes back to the old saying "this is why we can't have nice things" when people abuse their ability to burn.
I don’t know if this is relevant to this particular discussion, but I called to amend a current reservation and they told me their system is down so they cannot help, but to try back in an hour…
I assume that if I booked one trip months ago for May, say using the February offer, and then booked for another trip in May using the April offer then even though both trips are in the same month (but over a week apart) I'd get Freeplay for both trips...
in the past, I would say yes, but with the things that have been happening lately I wouldn't make that assumption now.
