Love all the food pics! And agree with you on LOVE. I never have been a big Beatles fan, but the show is one of Cirque's best!

Yesterday and today have been a whirlwind, and I took almost no photos, but lived in the moment!

The meet up was great, such a nice group of folks. VMBers are the best!

That was followed by dinner at Zuma, Pinky Ring at Bellagio and then Momofuku today, all wonderful.

Taxiing for departure now, but will try and recap this weekend.

Re the Mother Wolf noise level: We call that kind of restaurant the perfect place for couples who aren't speaking to each other. Which is why my DH is not a fan of Lago.

Ahhhh, there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed! 3 nights is really the perfect amount of time for me, and preferably mid-week, like we just did. The weekends just get way too much for me, especially with reservations, and the casino floors and what not.

Thankfully, @Christina6001 was able to capture great pics and commentary for the adventures that I haven't, so see her TR for those! ;-)

    General notes:

Cosmopolitan: Our wrap was fantastic, everything worked, I had zero room issues, so that's good. However, on the main floor, you can definitely feel a degradation, although I may be a little too critical. The bathrooms were all clean, the cocktail waitresses were fine, but I went several times with not seeing one for 30-45 minutes, which never used to happen. HL Slots doesn't suffer from the same problem, but due to it being remodeled for a lot of our stay and our previous plans, I didn't spend a lot of time there this trip. Chandelier, however, is awful. Surly bartenders, unfriendly servers, boo. I have no need to frequent that place anymore, which does make me kind of sad. Restaurants were all excellent though, including LPM, Zuma and Momofuku. Room Service was consistently great too.

Gamble: The highlight was definitely the quick hit of 17 on Wednesday night, which gave me ammo for Thursday am. On Thursday I hit the new wall of Dragon Links that are just outside of the HL Slot room, and played for a solid 2.5-3 hours, going from a $500 buy-in to $9k at one point. Average bets of $10-$100 on various denims. Played for another hour and gave back half of it, which then left me pretty even for the losses from Wednesday am. So that's a win, in my book. Also gave me an incredibly healthy Theo for my host to work with, and in addition to the room comp on the wrap, about $2.5k of folio charges completely wiped, leaving just grats billed. That also earned me platinum for next year, so under current Identity, October '25. When I chatted w/my host on Wednesday, he did say they are still formulating how Plat to Plat will merge, but likely that those who qualified into '25 will get the earned plat benefits (airfare, dining) on the MGM side, but no one really knows yet.

And JSX flying home was awesome. So civilized, and if you book far enough in advance, cheaper than United or Alaska, at least in the SFO/OAK market. Our flights on Alaska were $265/per person one way in first, and the return flights last night were pricing at $349-$379/per person, vs. $209/per person on JSX.

Bye-bye Vegas and thanks for following along!

And for any who are curious about the elevator situation, Boulevard definitely doesn’t have the problems that Chelsea is prone too. I never waited more than 30 seconds for one, so that was nice.

I don’t think you were being too critical about Cosmo’s main floor when I had similar feelings about waiting “forever” for a cocktail server to show up. Sorry to hear about Chandelier’s service going down the drain :(

I absolutely love playing the DL machines right outside of the HL slot room (this was before the renovations), so I hope to check out the changes in the next few months :)

I’m at a point where I don’t think much about the MGM merge these days. I’m Plat through August 2025 under the current Identity program, so whatever happens, happens.

Being an aerospace dude, shocked that JSX can remain in business with such a low count and prices. But looks comfy and cozy.

Same, but of course they do limit the # of seats sold at that price. Average seems to be in the 3s, with 4 & 5s on heavier days. Here’s this week and March:

Of note, I got an email from my Cosmo Host this am thanking me for my brutally honest feedback on the current state of staff/service at Chandelier. He printed my notes and read them in a department meeting yesterday…which resulted in some shocked faces from folks above him and a promise to address. I’ll take any actual action resulting from that with skepticism, but at least they know.

Now you cannot fly anything, but JSX;)

Oh, your plane is fancier than mine with single seats on both sides! I’ve only had one side with single seats and the other side is two seaters. Now I have to fly into SF to check this out lol. Just kidding. Or am I? lol

I wish JSX had an earlier morning flight and a later afternoon/early evening flight
Their schedule just doesn't work for day tripping

Probably my final note on this, but a good one…

Front Desk had closed and charged my folio (automatically?) on late checkout day at 4p, Host said on Saturday via email that he would adjust their billed charges since he had already done a preliminary ninja move with deductions thru midday on day 2 (hotel charged Zuma for close to $400, Momofuku for $500+, room service for $250ish, sundries for $300+, etc) and credit hit today for full amount, including grats at LPM, Zuma and room service. (Momofuku was cash grat, no folio charge)

Almost another $300 I didn’t expect, but will gratefully accept!

    Super Yay!!!!!!!!!!

Great report! Nice details on dining, and way to go on that 17 at roulette. I'm hoping to try LPM next week.
