The way it's worded on their website, it sounds like it is first 4 hours free for anyone self-parking.

Starting Sept. 27, Wynn and Encore Las Vegas will reinstate self-parking fees for non-resort guests. The daily parking fee will be $20 per day, with the first four hours free. Valet parking will be $40 per day.

Complimentary self-parking will be extended to registered Resort and Tower Suite guests, Wynn Poker Room guests, Private Access members, and Wynn Rewards members in the Chairman, Platinum and Black tiers. Complimentary valet parking will be available to guests staying in Wynn and Encore Tower Suites, as well as Private Access members, guests of Delilah and Wynn Rewards members in the Black and Chairman tiers.

I have been able to always park @ Golden Gate, via valet, and have never been charged.
I just play for a few hours.

Do you need to get something validated?

Not with the ticket you get from them.
I actually took my ticket to the players club, and asked, when I was there on Oct 31.
Their answer, to MY ticket from valet in the back, was NO.
    However, I did tip $5

Next Monday & Tuesday (12/4 & 12/5), I'm gonna hit up Fremont twice. Once, I'm gonna try to get parking validated from DTG after playing some VP, and the other time I'm gonna try to get valet validated from 4 Queens after some gambling. I'll (hopefully) report back that those instances went smoothly and as they should be.

Thanks for this. I have updated the rates for the 2024 thread I'll be posting next week.

I just parked at The STRAT and besides the rates shown on the Internet* I was charged a $.99 service fee for the convenience of using technology. I'm guessing because I used my phone.

*I tried looking on the Strat website for the rates but couldn't find them but 3rd party websites have the same rates painted in the garage. I asked Ivy and it didn't have an answer either.

I should probably add something about Strat and the "app fee" to the thread for 2024. I wish they had something on their website that listed clearly what to expect for parking charges.
