Lupo at Mandalay bay closing shop.

I've heard Lupo is closing shop at the Mandalay Bay and is only going to be open until the end of the month. Just a heads up for whoever was planning to visit this restaurant. (opentable reservations are open only until Sept 3)

only went once and took advantage of the myvegas BOGO and thought it was a great restaurant and it offered pretty good value with the myvegas coupon.

 

Reports are it’ll reopen as another Wolfgang Italian restaurant and the Players Locker (not a great name) in Summerlin will become a Lupo. Hopefully they’ll offer the rewards for the new places. I did Lupo a couple of times but never Players Locker. Apparently MGM wanted a newer restaurant before the Superbowl.

 

If this is the case, the chances they will add any new rewards until the "new restaurant" hype dies out are slim IMO

Glad I saw this, was looking at the MyVegas offer but won't be there until late Sept

 

Doesn't surprise me, redeemed a MyVegas offer there once and was very impressed.

 

Too bad, I liked that place. Decent value for the money in a sea of overpriced restaurants, good but not exceptional food, food came out really fast (almost suspiciously fast), usually empty if I went early and always got good dinner service sitting solo at the bar.
