What do you guys enjoy most about trip reports?

    Let's see... what I like are "live-as-could-be" live trip reports where the writings reveals the writer's personality, thoughts and feelings at the moment. I enjoy pics of winnings both slot and VP or to put it another way.. "anytime the casino loses." I enjoy when the writer interjects their situational sense of humor in their reports. Reading a TR of someone having just a miserable time whether it be gambling, travel related, food related, and such doesn't bother me either because it's "real." I know... I've been there. These trip reports are therapeutic and helps me bridge the time lapse between visits. VMBers who do trip reports :nworthy: Thank you!

    I can't disagree with this.

    My belief has always been that people write Trip Reports for themselves, just as much if not more than for other people. If it's a hassle, there's no obligation to do one. And you should put into it whatever you want to share with us.

    1) drunken shenanigans
    2) gambling degeneracy
    3) highs and lows i've never seen and probably never will (the mansion and that dive bar on boulder hwy etc etc)

    I agree, though, the report in the end is for me. when i have a trip approaching i'll read all my old ones to laugh and reminisce.

    I know I'm in the very miniscule minority here, but I really have no interest in trip reports and don't read 99.9% of them. I don't know why that is. It just is.

    There are definitely 2, maybe 3 exceptions to that. But overall, just not into trip reports.

    I enjoy feeling how happy most folks are just being in Las Vegas. Even though I'm only reading or looking at pictures, you can definitely sense the happiness most posters are experiencing. I love seeing the rooms, gaming and the food pictures, but mostly enjoy sharing in the "vibe" that posters exude thru their words.
