So I'm planning our next trip for March and want some opinions. We are staying at the M Resort for a couple nights and meeting up with some friends on the strip who are staying at Horseshoe on Saturday. I'm thinking we grab a bite for lunch with them to meet up but struggling to decide where.

What are good options for casual-ish lunch on the strip or near Horseshoe?

We are going to be there on a very busy weekend (Taylor Swift and March Madness) so I assume I'll need to make reservations almost everywhere.

Any of the Asian places at Wynn/Encore are really good.

Depends on your definition of casual-ish, but Sadelle's in Bellagio is a very pleasant lunch spot, although a bit more upscale. HEXX/Alexxa's (not sure which is which) and Mon Ami Gabi in Paris are nice as well.

On a more casual note, I like Oceans One or whatever it's called in Miracle Mile. There are several more casual sit down places in there as well. My most common go-to casual lunch is probably Block 16 at Cosmo, but that's mostly just take out counters, and not a nice area to sit and relax and chat with friends in my opinion; I usually take that to go and eat on my balcony in my room at Cosmo which isn't an option in your case, but they do have something for everyone since it's more of a food court with several different places, just limited seating and usually not a quiet setting. For that matter, Aria has a new food hall as well. I think in your situation I would probably just pick a restaurant in Miracle Mile. Also Giordanos right outside Horseshoe entrance is a good chicago style pizza place with beer and bar food / apps as well. For that route, I'd recommend the upstairs version which is a nice ambience for a casual sit down and chat with friends as long as there isn't a big sporting event filling it with rowdy sports fans. There is a downstairs service area also in the Bazaar shops that I refer to as a "tent," but upstairs they have a nice indoor sit-down conventional restaurant just in case you arent familiar. I'd hate for you to go to the tent and be like "wtf is wrong with MCann sending us to a food tent' lol

    What's casual?
Gordon Ramsey Fish & Chips in linq promenade is very casual and very good.

Mon Ami Gabi is a VMB favorite, and weather dependent in March... outdoor seating provides no better people-watching

My favorite lunch in that area is Momofuku in Cosmo

Grand Lux at Venetian or Palazzo has wide selection of everything on their menu.

    Gran Lux.
Or if super-casual, I love a good pastrami at Greenburg's Deli in NYNY.
