Any recommendations for a restaurant with a good rack of baby back bbq ribs downtown, preferably on Fremont St. between Plaza and El Cortez?

I see where Project BBQ @ Circa has them but I'm looking for a place with indoor dining.

    Thanks...

Tony Romas is always a decent choice. They have been around a while but the food is good.

I've never tried the ribs at Binion's, but others say they're good and they'll also probably be the most reasonably priced downtown.

The ribs at Binions have been "spotty" lately. Sometimes really, really good and others a bit on the dry side. But vegaskid74 is correct, they are the most reasonably priced.

I've had both a few times --Tony Roma's and Binions.
I am no expert on ribs, I would say both are good but not great.
    Tony Roma's is way overrated.

Agreed - neither option is exciting. Your best bet for really good, inexpensive ribs in Vegas is Ellis Island, but that obviously doesn't fit his Fremont St. requirement.

Two Binions visits on the past few months and the food has been it's not too expensive so I didn't expect much, but the second it's been spotty

Not in your desired area but a quick Uber/Lyft less than a mile away from El Cortez and still technically downtown, there's a Rollin' Smoke BBQ in Pawn Plaza. I've only ever been to the original location off Highland, which I love.

If you go to Tony Roma's you should have someone else start your car when you leave.

Agreed! The ribs at Rollin’ are excellent.

I haven't been to Tony Roma’s since I was a kid (I remember liking it, but I had no other experience with ribs then), and Binion’s bbq place is just okay enough to be passable… really dry and no taste and needs to be doused in the sauce.

If sticking with your downtown criteria, I’d go with Saltgrass.

Agreed! Tony Roma's can't promise you a good experience, but it certainly will be memorable.

Been to Tony Romas once up here and once at the Fremont. I'm no rib snob, but expecting really good ribs at TRs is like looking for a good steak at Sizzler!

Has Tony Romas received any ratings whatsoever since 1995?
