    My Trip Report

    Yesterday I was looking at my Fantasy football team and remembered that Dr. Dre and Eminem were performing the halftime show at the Super Bowl. I havent had a chance to see them in concert and it sparked the idea that maybe I should go to the Super Bowl to see them. My goal is now to make enough money at casinos via free play offers over the next 6 weeks to make it work. Who knows which casinos I will end up at but it should be a fun journey.

    If successful I am going to hit Vegas the week before the super bowl and then on to LA for the main event. Fingers Crossed.

    I'll need to figure out where to get tickets and what side of the field the half time show faces among other travel plans.

    Wish me luck.

    if you can get to PA/NJ (or some other states with lots of sportsbooks) you could leverage a lot of RIsk-free bet sign up offers.

    You've got any specific tips? Was thinking about a stop in DC and pisstburgh but could adjust.

    Here's a tip - as someone who lives in DC, save your money and avoid MGMNH if you're thinking of going there. Few reasons why this place sucks:

    1) terrible gaming rules, high minimums;
    2) horrible crowded, even on absurd times like Wednesday mornings;
    3) we're currently slammed with a snowstorm (which compared to the NE and NW is probably negligible but most of the city of shut down); and
    4) as stated above, if you're looking to place at several places, you're far better off in AC (and to a lesser extent, the Philly area). More gaming options/casinos in AC, far better rules/lower mins/better food.

    I'm 15 mins away from MGMNH but will drive 3+ hours each way if that gives you any idea how shitty MGMNH is. If, however, you want to stay in the DMV briefly, Charlestown, WV - while not great - is a better option. Maryland Live in Anne Arundel is also somewhat better, but these are both standalone. Maryland Live is on 295 N- which is on the way to AC - so if you don't want to go out of your way per se, this may be a better option if you're coming south and going north.

    Looking forward to hearing your excursions!

    I think you meant to say Charlestown and if so, it’s around 70 mins west of DC, and a stand-alone. It does have friendlier rules to the player, and there’s a bunch of civil war history around there. Plus, it’s somewhat on the way towards Pittsburgh, which I think you mentioned.

    Stop 1 was the Seminole coconut creek. I had $410 of bounce back free play. After getting my win loss statement for last year it is a sure sign I need to stop playing bubble craps. Casino was fairly empty and all of the blackjack/rouletters tables have been removed. Decided to use my free play at the jolly emperor slot. Not great but not the worst.

    Bankroll +$283

    Stop 2 is the Isle Casino Pompano Park. Last year I needed a handful of credits to get over the CET 150k 7 stars threshold so I spent some time one day playing bubble craps. As a reward I have earned $800 per week in January. So a twenty minute drive from coconut creek and the action starts.

    This casino has a handful of poker type table games but everything else, craps, roulette, blackjack, are videos.

    I put all of the free play into the treasure ball slot. $4 a spin with no major wins buy enough small ones to do ok. The little dragon came 3 times but never landed on a number. So no bonus opportunity.

    Stop: +$492

    Bank: +$775

    Today I stopped by the Hard Rock. I had 3 separate free play offers. First I had a $100 bounce back free play. I played the dragon ball slot and it only returned $38. Next up I had 2 $250 free play coupons which I used on blackjack. They were win and take and luckly I won both hands so made $500. Next stop I had $75 mystery free play which I used on a single spin of roulette. I bet red and it came up black, loser.

    Today +$538
    Total +$1,313

    I need to venture further afield to get more free play to reach my goal. Looks like I'll need to take a weekend trip to a casino that has more juice.

    @texascane I know in pa barstool sportsbook has a risk free 1k bet with 1x rollover if they reimburse in free play. Rivers has a deposit match up to 500. Caesars pa (which is separate for sign up purposes than the other caesars apps) has been running a 2022 deposit match where they match 100% up to 2022 dollars. Downside is 5 x rollover for that (slots) 25 x tables and vp and must be used in the casino (no sports betting) and within 7 days. Unibet and stardust have more modest signups that I have yet to capitalize on.

    Biggest perk in pa is you don't need to go to the property to establish the account so you could, from pittsburgh, sign up for all the sites and play from your room. Barstool has best payout speed I have seen, Rivers slowest, but I have only ever done a check from them.

    If I wanted to hunt new player offers for sports the place to be is New York right now given it just went live and you can cross to NJ and hit up their incredible # of books.

    Agreed; the Caesars one alone is a $3,000 deposit match and $300 free bet. DraftKings and FanDuel are probably another $1,000 each if they offer comparably what they did in AZ.

    EDIT: The cheapest Super Bowl tickets I can find on resale sites start around $8,000 per seat. Good luck with this quest!!

    One bit of warning on CET: I have a close friend who signed up for CET Friday in NY and can't get his documents reviewed. I guess they're overwhelmed with applications.

    Bigger issue with CET is the 3k match is not applicable to sports bets, requires a 5x rollover on slots and 25x rollover with tables and vp. The 300 free bet is a 1x bet

    It's looking tough. Best bet now is 50/50. I think the only way i can make it is to get free play from the mirage but im running out of time. I tried to bid on the NFL auction page and lost out at the last second. Been traveling all around picking up free play. Isle of Pompano, two trips to the mgm national harbor and then I thought a trip to Pittsburgh would seal the deal....sadly my host wasn't there anymore so I got no comps.

    Here are a few random photos of national harbor and Pittsburgh with a special trip to groundhog day.

    I decided to turn a no into a maybe. Booked a last minute flight into New Orleans and headed there at 7. It is a short two hour flight so easy in and out.

    I'm going to let the craps dice decide if I go. Win enough for a super bowl ticket and I'm on my way to LA tomorrow. Lose and I sit in my room at harrahs NO and watch free movies. Hoping for lots of inside numbers at the table tonight.

    About 30 minutes delayed but close to being on the way. 1 hr 50 minutes in flight and about 60 people on board.
