Ok so my observations so far is there is technically no way to social distance in Vegas. All casinos downtown have the temp scanners, but on the strip I didn't have my temp checked at all. In the casino only about 25 percent of the guest were wearing mask. Nobody really seems worried anymore and basically ignored the stickers in the line and elevator. Today actually look like a normal day in Vegas as far as the crowd downtown on the strip not so much. I think everyone else felt like I did with the majority of the casinos being open downtown its much easier to maneuver. The strip is even more of a task with only a few casinos open.

Another big problem with the strip is getting around. The duece bus is free all weekend but the wait times are horrible. I attempted one ride on the bus. We waited about 45 minutes before we decided to call a Uber. Part of my group tonight tried to take a bus back to the Strip. They waited a hour and when the bus finally came the driver told them there would be a 20 minute layover. Uber is also a bit higher. Due to Covid a group of 4 now requires a Uber XL which is about double the price. Lyft still lets you ride with 4 in a regular car but the wait was one hour to get a lyft really!!!

Also Mlife is having a bunch of Issues with communication and just trying to figure out what there doing. They originally told us they couldn't accept our Konami freeplay. They said that they wouldn't be accepting rewards until July 1st. But a supervisor step in at NY NY and said that we could. This was consistent in every Mlife casino. Some host said you could some said no. After getting a supervisor they will give it to you. When we got to Bellagio they tried to explain it a little better. They had a paper that looked like they had just typed up that morning. They will redeem your freeplay but nothing else. They wouldn't even let one lady redeem a 2 for 1 gelato. So keep in mine that is until July 1st.

As far as the machines I noticed on the strip they were turning every other machine off like we've seen in other places. Downtown they have mostly all machines on and just removed a chair which is not really doing much. As you all may have saw in the pictures they have the gates up around Fremont now. They have signs up saying must be 21 to enter. We actually got Id walking back and forth across the street between Fremont Casino and Golden Gate. Craziest thing ever they actually Id us leaving out of the Golden Gate before we could go back out to the street so weird. I talk to one of the nice security officers and its supposedly to help keep the homeless and teenagers out. So it's nothing to do with Covid and a permanent change.

I hope this post makes some type of sense I'm pretty intoxicated. I wanted to share some of the big changes I saw with you all before I forget.

Really appreciate all of the pictures (more slot porn needed!!) and information. Would you guess there are a lot of people from out of town or are a lot of locals hitting the casinos? Just wondering since it seems like downtown is much busier than the strip which I would have expected.

It seems like a bunch of people drove up from California for a weekend trip.

All this did was make me feel bad about the gross degradation of MY communication skills when I'm "pretty intoxicated"

Thanks for all the great information.
I'm actually glad they are ID'ing people on Fremont. It's no place for children, and whatever keeps the crowds down even somewhat, I'm all for.

Thanks for a very coherent report! Your opinion. Do you think it would be cheaper/faster to take a taxi instead of Uber/Lyft?
    Continued fun & good luck!
