By weight, polonium is greater than 200,000 times more toxic than hydrogen cyanide. A quantity approximately the size of one grain of salt can be deadly to humans.

One of the most grueling and physically demanding training programs a US military organization offers is the training necessary to be a Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer, formally known as an Aviation Survival Specialist. The training is described as more physically challenging than that for a Navy SEAL or an Army Ranger.

In addition to the expected skills such as swimming, lifesaving, diving, medical first-response, helicopter deployment, air-sea rescue, they must demonstrate compentence in such things as engine repair, parachute rigging and air and watercraft electromechanical troubleshooting. Candidates must also pass the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam to be recognized as a qualified first-responder.

There is a drop-out rate between 75% and 85% of all who are accepted to the program. Of the recognized Special Operations units, only the Delta Force has a higher drop-on-request washout rate.

In Hawaiian, the name of the planet we know as Uranus is Hele'ekala. (Pronouncing "Hele'ekala" shall be left as an exercise for the student.)

Hyde Park, New York, in Dutchess County north of The Bronx, and New Hyde Park, New York, in in Nassau County, Long Island, just east of Queens, are frequently confused with one-another by those unfamiliar with the area.

Perhaps New Hyde Park could be renamed Jekyll Park.
