Wow. We have the same taste in entertainment.
Pinball, Kiss Golf and some medical supplements.
We will be there for the SB.

We never ended up going back downstairs last night after packing.
We were out of the room by 10:30 this morning and were off to meet a local couple or some fun at Gene Wood's go carts. We grabbed some sandwiches from a shop called Capriotti's on the way.
Side note here. The place that we got the sandwiches is a chain but we don't have them in our neck of the woods so I had never heard of them. In researching the place to see if we wanted to stop there, I discovered their specialty sandwich was a turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce on it. That was my mom's favorite sandwich in the world. Then I looked at the name and it is called "The Bobbie". My mom's name was Bobbie (well, technically Roberta, but she never went by that). I was floored by the coincidence and it just truly made me feel like mom is up there looking over us this trip. It made me very happy.
So obviously we had to get that sandwich, and we got a couple others for our friends and headed over to the go cart course.
Long story short, they were closed today, so we all sat on the bench outside and ate our sandwiches while chatting. When we were done, they mentioned going to another go cart place but we had already bought a groupon for this place and didn't want then to have to pay for a different one (they were offering). I'm not sure who mentioned it but someone brought up the Pinball Hall of Fame and our friends told us it was right around the corner.
Well, this place has been on our Vegas bucket list for a couple years now so it was a pretty easy decision to motor over there and check it out.
It was a blast. We ended up staying and playing like little kids on twenty dollars for a couple of hours.

When we were done playing we headed over to The Flamingo to see if we could check in yet.

We got to the Flamingo around two thirty or three so I didn't anticipate any problems getting our room, and I was correct.
I was surprised that there wasn't much of a line to check in and also glad that we got to speak to a human rather than have to use a kiosk. The lady who checked me in was very nice and we were up to our room in a matter of minutes.

Nice pics of your Flamingo room here, just wondering about the cone shaped pink top end table though!....It looks like a table for dancing on ,from a "Gentlemens Club". Or a special room put aside for a stag! Continue with the fun.

Nice story about your mom favorite sandwich. Earl of Sandwich makes a holiday sandwich like that which is my favorite for breakfast. Looking forward to the rest of your report.

Thanks guys. It really floored me...in a good way.

I know right?? There is no real value to it for the room. We've put all our snacks on it.

@carolineno it's a Go Mini Suite. I think it ran us 400.00 for the entire week. However the rates were low everywhere for this week when I booked it, so I can't speak to how much it normally goes for.
I will say that it is lacking a couple of things. Places to hang towels in the bathroom and drawer space. If you don't unpack your suitcase in a hotel, no problem. But we are here for a week and wanted to make ourselves at home. No sale. There are desk size drawers along the marble counter but there are no dressers or even other shelves that are sizeable enough to put clothing.

Thanks. I've had that sandwich before and love it! There is a small mom and pop place in Maine that I grew up eating at. It's called Big G's and it has the BEST sandwiches. It makes one that has all these things on it as well. They have over 70 sandwiches to choose but that is the only one I will get.

If you can believe it, in all my trips to Vegas I have never eaten at Momofuku. I have always wanted to because of the drool worthy pics in trip reports here, but it just never worked out.
    That changed today.

We woke up and after the gym and showers we boogied on down the road to Cosmo.

At Momofuku we of course got the pork buns and pork ramen. It was all very delicious and I'm glad we went. We split both and it was the perfect amount of food for us for lunch.
After we ate we slotted around Cosmo for a while but we weren't really hitting much.

After Cosmo yesterday we decided to head over to Bellagio because I had read on here that they just changed the conservatory.
Our trips almost always fall in November, so I was excited to see anything other than that creepy tree with the eyes and mouth. :haha::haha:
It was done up in the year of the Tiger, which is my year so that was pretty cool.

The best things to do in Vegas are free, and the Bellagio conservatory is certainly one of them! Every visit is different and one has to admire the creative imagination, labor ,needed to stimulate visitors new or repeats. Enjoying your pics and continue to have fun.
