I'm working through all the Marvel movies in timeline order after getting hooked on the Hawkeye series. I've already seen about half of them, but I'm still rewatching those. I'm up to Guardians of the Galaxy currently.

It's definitely polarizing. By the time the big speech rolled around, I was rooting for the meteor (comet.)

    Season finale
Just watched last night. I had questioned the the decision on releasing a season finale on Christmas Eve.
Now I get it. Just wanted to release and get it over with.

    Damn it was terrible.
Let's try and put a tidy bow on this season with an hour of nonsensical b.s. and hope everyone comes back for season 2.
Hopefully I forget about this when s2 e1 comes around

Just started South Park today on HBO Max. I’ve never watched episode before today and I’ve been laughing my ass off the past two hours.

We watched Being The Ricardos on Prime. We liked it but we're old. We grew up watching I Love Lucy. The movie only touched on it, but Desi was quite a television innovator.

I just watched Being the Ricardos as well, I enjoyed it as well, but I thought it could have been edited down a bit for time. I didn't realize h

I just saw a post that Lucille Ball gave the green light and financed the first Star Trek pilot and also helped bring Twilight Zone to the screen. Article.

I enjoyed The Super Bob Einstein Movie on HBO Max, very funny. Bob Einstein played Marty Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm, unfortunately, he passed about two years ago. He was "discovered" by Tom Smothers from his deadpan delivery.

Thank goodness that HBO & Cinemax on Directv have had a freebie week so we could record some movies - our computers (but mostly 2 of my husband's) went THROUGH something a couple weeks ago and we used 175% of our data for the month, so we're throttled. No streaming :-(

[we have satellite internet, we pay a LOT for the highest level of data, which is "unlimited" but when we go over, we get throttled....we can surf the internet but no streaming......And we still don't know what our computers were doing - data use is just "system" so behind the scenes updates, viruses, who knows.....I mean, we've cleaned and the devices all seem fine, but something happened....]

Look into Starlink. No data caps and blazing fast, if you can get it.

We've been on the starlink waiting list ($$$ deposit) for over a year now and I think 2023 is the current "may be available" date .....

Have to agree about Yellowstone. This season has not been as strong. I'm looking forward to the final season of Better Call Saul, and wondering what the next spin-off will be from the Breaking Bad people.

New holiday tradition, "Trailer Park Boys Xmas Special (2004)" - really great footage of trailers lit up with holiday lights. Love it! I could watch hours of just that.

"Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer" on Netflix. Pretty gritty but great footage of late 1970s NYC

and "Metropolitan (1990)" just to lighten the mood. Happy New Year everyone!

I LOVE Metropolitan!! Either Vanity Fair or Town & Country did an oral history of that movie last year (I think).

In my market, new All Creatures Great & Small season 2 starts 1/9 on PBS. AND there is a new series that starts this weekend (1/2) Around the World in 80 Days with David Tennant as Phineas Fogg. I have both set to record!
