Happy Birthday, Bill! "Dogs and Cats living together--mass hysteria." "Chicks dig me, cuz I rarely wear underwear. When I do, it's something unusual."

In the 1920s and 1930s, the deejays of WMCA in New York (yes, those who would go on to become the WMCA Good Guys) were also recording stars. They recorded vocals starting in 1923 for Victor and Columbia at times, accompanied by the Hotel McAlpin Orchestra. The call letters WMCA stand for the MCAlpin Hotel, the owners of which were the radio station's original primary investors. (Move over, Herb Oscar Anderson!) :)

The zoom lens, now commonplace in photography and cinema, was first used commercially for the 1927 Paramount feature It, starring Clara Bow. It has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry sponsored by the Library of Congress.

Some supercooled isotopes of helium can form a "Superfluid", with zero viscosity, that when stirred, will continue to rotate indefinitely.

I haven't done the math, but my gut instinct is that you have severely understated this percentage!;)
