What kind of transport do you use if you have issues walking, such as taxis etc?

Public bus that goes down las vegas blvd if its long distance from your current location to where you want to go. You can get a 24 hour pass for 8 bucks and hop on and off anytime.

Taxi, Uber/Lyft, RTC transit. Monorail probably isn't practical as you have to walk way to the back of the properties to catch it.

I supposed I could also suggest a scooter rental. :)

I think it depends on how much of a problem that you have walking. If walking short distances is no problem like going to/from the parking garage, you can rent a car. Although, I think Uber/Lyft or taxis would probably be the most convenient. If you have severe mobility issues, you may want to consider renting a scooter too.

You could rent a scooter and there are taxis that are handicap accessible. These taxis should accommodate you and a scooter plus a friend or two.

It actually does not stop at every casino, especially going North bound. There are zero stops between Paris and Harrahs.

There is a bus stop in front of bellagio where the big bellagio sign is and that is the bus stop I am going to get on when I go end of october to go to Mandalay Bay (my mom cant walk from cosmo to Mandalay bay and back), but heading back we are going to go through the casinos (my mom is bday free play hopping and mykonami hopping, I am also but with mykonami).. According to the map of the strip, paris is across the street next to ballys. I think the stop before that is flamingo or the Linq (going southbound). It is hard on the strip to avoid walking a bit. Each casino is huge and most have malls attached to them or next to them. Downtown vegas is a lot easier to get around especially for those who do not like walking a lot.

Problems with lyft, uber, taxi is you have to walk to the valet/drop off area to even get in one. We took uber once when my dad was with us (he did not want to take the bus back because he didnt want to walk to the stop) and he thought they would pick up where he called, but nope...he called again to see where the driver was and then had to walk from outside the Park MGM (I remember this, we were outside park mgm somewhere not even close to the valet/drop off area) and then found out we had to walk all the way to the valet/drop off area in order to catch uber. We did not like it, especially my mom with her legs walking on sidewalks because it was a really long walk from where we were. My dad learned his lesson. My mom and I were very familiar with the buses on las vegas blvd, not uber and my dad did not know what he was doing and had no idea there was an actual spot uber drivers had to go to pick people up. We were heading back to the D in downtown vegas after we were done with park mgm.

I wonder how much uber charges on the strip compared to the RTC? like from bellagio to mandalay bay? or from cosmo to mandalay bay? What I hope though is that they don't charge extra if you are coming from a more expensive hotel like cosmo. My mom and I just want one way to mandalay bay. The bus is $4 for one way per person.

You can pull up a quote in there app at anytime. You don't have to be in Vegas to check either.

Back on topic, I'd look at a scooter rental to make it easier to get around, though you may have to wait until you get to your hotel to take advantage of having one. I would also suggest coordinating with the airline to get assistance at the airport(s) to make it easier there as well.

Paris and Ballys are side by side, not across the street from each other. They even have a connecting hallway inside.

When you get off the bus at Mandalay Bay, you have to walk uphill for a bit to get into the property from the Strip. I am not sure how that is going to be for your mom if she has trouble walking. It might honestly be easier for her to walk to the valet area inside (I am not sure what hotel you are starting this trip from to get to the Bellagio bus stop)

Cosmo. On google maps you can do the in person view which tells you exactly where the bus stop is. All I have to do is walk out of the cosmo casino and walk onto las vegas blvd which is right there and then across the secret way street (It is called that because that is a quicker entrance into the self parking garage when I looked it up) to the stop in front of the bellagio sign.

Yes, you are correct about that bus stop. But the bus stop at Mandalay Bay requires you to walk up a hill to get into Mandalay Bay. So it may be easier for your mom to walk on straight ground to the Uber/Lyft area of Cosmo, and take a car, rather than to take a bus and walk up the hill at Mandalay Bay.

This is what it says on the website from cosmo (I put in the casino address) to mandalay bay....

    Your options
    WAV $0.04
    UberX $9.07
    Assist $9.07

What is WAV? I know from cosmo to mandalay bay is only about 1.3 miles. Under ways to ride there is nothing that says WAV. I am confused on this one? 4 cents to ride?

Stands for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. No clue why it says 4 cents though.
