We are locals and today we received our June offers mailer from Stations. Still had some free play, more point multipliers than before, some food and hotel deals and a weekly give away. Only difference was they stopped the slot and video poker tournaments. Nothing was more than we ever got before from them.

I am expecting some decent opening deals although I would think e-mail might be the primary way to communicate with the players. My biggest concern is how they are going to handle getting people into the casino given they are going to be stopping everyone for questions and temp taking. Plus if someone is over 100.4 they give them 15mns and then re-test. If they are over again, what happens...do they detain or just send them away. It will be a big problem as, if they are able to get people out of 105 degrees to line up inside, think about the area needed for snake lines that require people to be six feet apart plus six feet apart on either side. That is a lot of square footage and, I think, a great deal of time in queue.

I finished in 2nd place at the Boulder Station weekly slot tournament about 2 weeks before they closed and won $500!

Actually got around to our flyer today. I thought it had some excellent deals. Wife and I each got $100fp ($20x5) in June, gift days moved to Friday, two senior days every week (Wed and Thursday) and every Thursday and Sunday are 10x points for reels AND VP with no limit. I'll take that every month with no complaints at all. Wife will go next Thursday and she is hoping since she is President that entry won't be a big deal.

Great news!! I just got off the phone with Red Rock and I'm getting the same treatment that I did with Palms. Room's comped and free pick up/drop off at the airport!! My offers should be coming within the next couple of weeks.

I don't recall 10x on VP ever. Plus that is for two days per week and the Senior day was also expanded to two days. I think you will like GVR if you haven't been there very often. Pizza Rock is great and they have a very nice sportsbook. My wife is headed there tomorrow...no temp taking at the door as they are using the body scans as you walk in with (hopefully) no delays.

Welp. Thought it was too good to be true. VP is now $2 coin in per point per the updated brochure on their website. It used to be $1 coin in per point.

ETA: Reports from another group that the 100%+ games no longer earn any points. And that 99%+ machines are not eligible for multipliers.

Update: Stations is now saying that "some of the signs on machines were placed in error." If true, then 99+ machines are eligible for multipliers. 100%+ games will earn no points and cannot be used for FP. So not the bloodbath it seemed earlier, but still a downgrade from what was routinely available pre shutdown.

i was coming to palace station tonight specially for the 10x points promo and only after i was playing for a hour i found out that now they change it from 1$ coin in for each point earning to 2$ coin in for each point. i was totally mad by there misleading and a short time after i found out about it , i left the casino.

STATION CASINOS WON'T SEE A DIME FROM ME FOR A WHILE
NOW STATION CASINOS ARE EVEN WORSE THAN BOYD CASINOS

Wow! That is really LOW! A great way to greet returning players after a nine week shutdown.

Pretty bad PR move: Hey, while we are in lockdown we made significant changes to our program. No, we didn't announce them anywhere. Yes, we did advertise a promotion that sounded really good if our old program was still in place. No, we still didn't inform folks of the major changes to our program. I mean we posted it online. No we didn't put anything on any of our main pages, but if you click through far enough into the details you could find it.

I mean, I only play Stations casually so I'm not particularly invested. But, what a way to alienate your core of loyal, local players. At a time when everyone's going to be clamoring for the reduced pool of gambling dollars. It doesn't make much sense to me.

Now there is a race between Station and Boyd on who is the worst local casino operator.
I see no ending to the race yet.
