I thought I’d post a few thoughts from last night to help others.

dont play the golden goddess machine by the Caesars sports book. It’ll bleed you dry and the drink you ordered will cost $500 lol

On serious notes there are a lot of hiccups which is to be expected. I ordered a makers a few times and figured that they either used cheap liquor or the lines in the gun weren’t clean because it tasted like rubber. A lot of people don’t know each new policy like the free drinks or food credit for 7 stars since no diamond lounge.

decent amount of people in the casino but Caesars was eerily quiet from a volume perspective. Flamingo was busy and reminded me of the old days and once the music changed over at 9 things really started bumping. People screaming and having a good time. Was very nice to see.

if you are VVIP as my host puts it try to get your name on a list that lets you self park in the valet lot at Caesars. Limited to 25 people. My dad is a 250k 7* and couldn’t get it for perspective.

drink service is pretty slow. Seems like a lot fewer waitresses working

if you play at the bar tops they’re supposed to spray it and let it sit for 5 minutes after each player leaves. I only saw that at Vista lounge. As the night got busier I didn’t see it at any other bar.

Overall it’s pretty fun and I’m glad I came. I’m willing to bet other casinos will open sooner rather than later. Assuming after the weekend it doesn’t die out. I’ll post more thoughts as I think of them.

Also a lot of security everywhere. I’m sure that’s given the current climate of things but no protests or anything that I saw. Outside things were pretty quiet.

Thanks for "taking one for the team". I wouldn't go first weekend.

It was great last night. One handpay so far at Flamingo Tons of security. Not enough tables open. Bellagio was packed as well and plexiglass is annoying as hell

Thanks for the insight. Caesars has lots of slots tightly packed - from your perspective, was every other machine off or did they re-space? Was it really 50% of the machines off? Thanks for any info as I’ll be there soon.

They did a good job spreading them out. From what I saw every other was turned off and some had been moved around. They did a good job spacing things out.

Also masks required at tables. I had a thread about it earlier but it’s confirmed. Makes sense given no plexiglass at the tables.

Was it at flamingo that there wasn’t enough tables open?

Ice machines are shut off. Have to go to the bars and ask for ice. No room service and minibar items all removed

At flamingo and Bellagio it seemed like less than 50% were turned off. Not been in Caesars yet

For the ice machines and minibar, is that at Caesars? Does that mean you can put your own items in the minibar cooler?

Ice machines turned off. That is way more of a CoverYouA$$ move than health concerns. Sort of like the room checks.

Wonder how much back room lawyers had input on various decisions?

If you try to get a seat at the bar tops good luck. It’s hard enough to find a seat but getting service is just as hard.

Interesting. Cosmo still has minibars stocked (sugar-free Red Bull was much needed last night). I haven't been to Flamingo yet but I'm finding that the measures vary quite a bit. Cosmo felt relatively normal, while Bellagio has partitions. But then the CVS next to Park was closed, and at the Walgreens across the street next to Showcase, I was fairly aggressively waved back when going to ask a staff member where the tissues were (I was wearing a mask at the time, to the extent that matters). I think things will take a little bit to even out, but I'm glad to see forward progress.
