Not my name, so hopefully I'm good, the resetting points sounds obnoxious.

You should be fine. Just try to note points before you go to bed if you're not starting at zero. Most people probably don't notice but I was suddenly missing over 2000 one morning. Also no real idea when you advance a tier either. I just happened to ask one time and sure enough. Got it.

I've only played at the Grand for any appreciative amount 1 time and I was invited to their NYEve party with free nights. Surprised me! I've gone in to check the place out 2-3 times and ran $100 bucks through vp each time. One time I played craps...$50 on the 4 and $50 on the 10 as they don't charge any vig...a truly even bet. As it turned out, I lost around $800. The invite really floored me.

Are they having an actual party or is it just access to the party out on Fremont?

My wife really likes DTG, and as long as they keep giving us free rooms (even if I have to contact a host) we will be staying there. And I actually got a mailer from them yesterday.

I got the same one and have barely played. Doesn't look like it includes Fremont Street wristbands for the party though. The all you can drink deal was pretty interesting. Airfare is ridiculous for me though so I dont know if I can justify it

I'm a very low roller so I was excited to receive this mailer from DTG today. I'm intending to use at least 1 free night but may get to use all 3 free nights over Jan, Feb, and March.

24 hour craps. Interesting. A couple of times I've been in the casino early but had to settle for video poker or head down the street to The D for dice.

I realize some small casinos would not have 24 hour craps (at least one table with a bored crew telling jokes) but a "major" casino/hotel ? Hard to believe but priorities are made by someone.

    The players.

No craps players for hours at a stretch, no need for a 3- or 4-person crew in the middle of the night.

I've talked to many employees at DTG who understand how management is screwing up that property. They agree with us that the place could be great if management would get out of its own way. DTG is always a ghost town. Love the craps dealers--great people, fun to play with. But they know their days are numbered. The Lady Luck drew us there, the new design/rooms/most of the employees are great, but I've been double charged for rooms, given rates which are different than my reservation confirmations, etc. It's the only time in my life where, when they gave me an extra C-note at the cashier's cage, I didn't return it right away.

We were just there for four nights. Nice stay, but just as ctg333 says, they overcharged us upon checkout. We had paid a nonrefundable rate during their holiday sale, but they tried to charge us again and at a higher rate when we checked out. Fortunately I had printed my email confirmation and showed them that. Took them about ten minutes to straighten it out. I still like the place but have come to expect things like that

Just got my mailer. 2 comp nights and $10 fp and resort credit. Despite trips in a couple weeks and again for super bowl I won't be using these comp nights.

I got my new year offer from DTG in November, but I still haven't received anything for Jan-March. [emoji58][IMG]

And it's ridiculous how late they are with mail. If one is going to Vegas for nye, they've already bought flights, booked rooms and parties.

I got my new year offer from DTG, but I still have not received any offers for January to March. :/
I completely agree. Had I known about this offer earlier, I could've booked flights at a reasonable price. I did call and book this offer, only to cancel it a couple of days later due to the flights. That is when they told me that I had January offers listed in their system. Of course, I was unaware since I have yet to receive any offer during that time. I now know that I can just call and find out what offers are valid under my account. I am booked for late January for 1 comped night at Bally's and 2 comped nights at DTG.
